The trials, errors, triumphs, joys and despair that go along with pursuing a career in entertainment will definitely have you on a roller coaster ride of emotions. One minute you’ll have weeks filled with trying to figure out how you’re going to get to all of your auditions; the next you’ll be checking your phone to see if it works and trying to figure out any possible reason as to why you haven’t heard from your agent or received feedback from any of your self-submissions. You begin feeling like a character in your very own soap opera.
I chose to call my blog “As the Tree Grows” because….well, I’m named after a tree and each day presents new experiences and new opportunities for me to grow. Despite the challenges, worries and woes, I have made a very important and life changing decision to pursue my goal of being a professional actor at all costs. Life is entirely too short to be unhappy or wake up wondering “what if.”
I thank you in advance for following me on my journey. I hope that my life will be an inspiration to you and that you will be given the courage to work towards whatever dream you’ve been wanting to pursue. This is my story and I’m sticking to it ;).
